I will try to answer the questions as best as possible. I have not learnt to type in Tamil. So against each question no I will give the answers in English. Regards,

1. நூல்கள் படிக்கும் பழக்கம் பெருக்க தங்களின் வழிகாட்டுதல் என்ன?

 1. Buy and keep books neatly arranged .

2. மாணவர்கள் கல்லூரி வந்தவுடன் திசைமாறிப் போய்விடுகின்றனர். அவர்களை எவ்வாறு வாசிக்க வைப்பது?

2. Introduce good books according to their reading level and ability. (It is important to read -we can worry about the quality of the books they read later)

3. துறை சார்ந்த நூலகள் மாணவர்களுக்கு அந்நியமாகிப் போவதன் காரணம் பரந்த புத்தக வாசிப்பின்மையே எனக் கூறலாமா?

3. Sorry I have no idea.

4. துறை சார்ந்த நூலகள் தவிர பிற இதழ்களை தாங்கள் வாசிப்பதுண்டா? எனில் அவை குறித்த தங்களின் கருத்து என்ன?

4.I am a business man. I never read self improvement or making more money type of books !. I read classics, history, biography and autobiography.

5. இணைய வழி படிப்பென்பது தகவல் திரட்ட உதவும். வாழ்க்கையில் மனிதமனங்கள் பண்பட உதவுமா?

5.I doubt internet browsing alone makes a man more knowledgeable or wise. May be that makes one better informed.

6.நூல் படிப்பதற்கும்  இணைய வாசிப்பிற்கும் உள்ள வித்தியாசம்?

6. The difference between tasting well cooked fresh fish and tasting badly cooked dry fish ("karuvadu")

7.பல நூல்களைப் படித்து அறிவை வளர்ப்பதின் மூலம் தன்னம்பி க்கை ஏற்படு ம். ஆக்கஅறிவு (Creativity) மிகும். இணையத் தரவுகள் இதைச் செய்யுமா?

7. Internet browsing also could make one self confident because of its vast area but I am not sure about "creativity""

8. If you are reading with bad light or in a moving train even book reading is bad. I think it depends upon age. Youngsters browse whole night without getting tired.

9. பல விஷயங்களை இணையத்தில்படித்தாலும்  புத்தக வாசிப்பு போல் சிந்தனையைத் தூண்டுமா ?

9. My feeling it will not. But I am not too sure.

10.மக்கள் படிப்பதற்கேற்ற தரமான  நூல்கள் அதிக அளவில் வெளிவர என்ன செய்யவேண்டும்?

10.. People should buy books. At least a small part of family budget should go towards books. (other than magazines)

11.நல்ல விமரிசகர்கள் உருவாகவேண்டுமானால் நல்ல பல படைப்புகள் வேண்டும். அதற்கு நல்ல ரசனை வேண்டும். அதற்கு நல்ல வாசிப்பு அவசியம். வட்டத்தைச் சுற்றி வருவது போலத்தான் இதுவும்.தங்களின் கருத்து என்ன?

11. Yes. Reading of good books is essential .

12.நீங்கள் காணும் தற்கால நூல்கள், இதழ்களில் உள்ள குறைகள், குற்றங்கள் என்ன? அவற்றை எப்படிக் களையலாம்?

13.நீங்கள் படித்த புத்தகங்களில் உங்களுக்குப் பிடித்த நூல்கள் என்ன? உங்களுக்குப் பிடித்த படைப்பாளர் யார்?

     Unpopular Essays- Bertrand Russell. Les Miserables- Victor Hugo. Pere Goriatby Balzac.  Amerika- Franz Kafka.    Tamil. Thanner-

 Asoka Mithiran.  Pallikondapuram. Neela Padanabhan. Ammani- Vasanthi. Authors I like. George Orwell. Graham Greene. Will Durant, Tamil Asokan Mithiran.  Jeya Mohan only his travel writings.

14. தற்போது வரும் இதழ்கள் தரமுடையனவாக உள்ளனவா?

15.புரட்சிப்பாதையில் கைத் துப்பாக்கிகளைவிட பெரிய ஆயுதங்கள் புத்தகங்களே என்றார் லெனின்.தற்போது இணையம் தகவல்களை விரைவாகத் தரலாம். ஆனால் உள்ஆற்றலை வளர்க்குமா?

15. I find that reading  books is helped by internet. Previously if I come across some thing new I will  have to continue reading without understanding the concept but now  smartphone with internet helps to know with in seconds. Internet can enhance your reading experience but cannot replace  books is my view.
